Built to be used one-handed, on a phone, by anyone.
Last updated . Plain language, not legal advice.
AmeniMove is used in a gym, often with one hand and a sweaty thumb. That is the case it is designed around, and most of what makes it work there is also what makes it work with assistive technology.
What is in place
- Every page is checked automatically against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules with axe-core, across phone and desktop profiles, including a live workout with the rest timer on screen. Serious and critical findings fail the build.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels tall, and every text field is at least 16 pixels so a phone does not zoom on focus.
- A skip link, visible focus rings, labelled inputs, live announcements for timers, logged sets and step changes, and dialogs that trap focus and return it.
- Selection and state never rest on colour alone; a tick, an edge or a label carries the same meaning.
- Reduced motion is honoured: animations stop and demonstration media has a still frame and a pause control.
- Body text is at least 4.5:1 against its background, and most of it is well above that.
What has not been verified
There has been no manual screen-reader pass, and testing has been in Chromium emulation rather than on physical devices or in Safari. Automated checks do not catch a confusing reading order or a label that is present but unhelpful. A full conformance statement is being prepared and will replace this page.
